Abstract
Ferrite spinel nanoparticles are iron based semiconducting oxides that are having interesting magnetic properties, technologically making them a famous group in magnetic materials, in recent past. CoFe2O4 nanoparticles which belong to this group of ferrite magnetic materials, and in this mini review on cobalt ferrite nanoparticles different synthesis methods and their magnetic properties are discussed in brief. The relations between the magnetic properties to that of nanoparticle size with respect to synthesis procedure are discussed. The powder XRD measurement in general and SEM characterization is presented in this study.
